I enrolled myself into this art school and later, I got accepted as a student. But I have financial difficulty as the fee is too high. Hence I need the scholarship badly.

I was told by the staff that I am to submit my writing to the school - Why or in what ways do I deserved the scholarship. It’s not exactly an essay as I was being told, perhaps just a page of writing in A4 size?

Now, as for the content of the writing, I have some questions as I have never did something like that before.

I have some ideas what to write about though, but need to hear what you guys gotta say?

I intend to include my favorite artist - MC Escher into my writing, give a little background about him and his artworks, and talk bout how he inspire me into the world of Art.

Also, I love his stuffs so much that I attempted some Escher-like style of works in my portfolio.

I would also like to talk about Mathematics as it is my fav subject back in high school.
I feel that the importance to include him in my writing because he plays such an impt role in my attitude towards Art, applying Maths - my fav subject into Art.

So…. could I say something like that above in my writing?
Any other suggestions? Feel free to list them out!

I would also include an art piece by Escher so that the person who reads my writing knows how his work is like, in case he/she does not know who Escher is. Is this (adding images) appropriate in a scholarship writing?

*Do note that my portfolio interview was over, so I’m not required to bring my portfolio anymore BUT, I could include new works too and show them in a CD. I am thinking of creating 2-3 Escher-like works and show them. What do you think?
