I’m trying to find this Filipino martial art?

It’s not Escrima or Arnis. I think they wear 1/2 black and 1/2 white long pants. I think the name is two words, both starting with Y.

how is the beginning of my story?

I’m finding it hard to sleep tonight; I can’t seem to settle. All I can think about is blood, I close my eyes and I picture a razor gashing across someone’s wrist, and I watch as the cut gets so deep a vein bursts. And all that beautiful shimmering blood pours out, down her arm. It begins to slow down, and then it stops, the arm falls and it doesn’t move. It’s like an overwhelmingly beautiful piece of music being played to you, all these little emotions that you savour. I knew it was time, I had to kill again.
I had already buried about four people in their unmarked graves in the past two months. I normally only kill when I feel a dire need. It’s a precious thing, taking away someone’s life and so I don’t like to do it too often, I don’t want my favourite hobby getting boring on me. Tonight I was having one of those urges; it’s only so long that I can function in society slightly normal before I have the need to kill again.
I reached out under my bed and pulled out my tool bag. Where I keep most of the instruments I use when I head off to do my work. All those little knives I carry are so pretty, they can really create true art, and the body of my poor defenceless victims is my canvas. Just splash that crimson blood around a bit and a masterpiece is born. My favourite is the pen knife, so simple, easy to hide; your victim won’t even see it as you crawl up behind them and slit their throats. Oh so dark, rich, and delightful.

i will add more if i get a good response but i didnt want the question to be too long.

How can I memorize the elements and principles of art?

Elements of art
-color
-texture
-value
-shape
-space
-line

Principles of art
-rhythm
-balance
-pattern
-emphasis
-unity
-contrast
-variety

All I need to do is memorize what they are. I don’t need to worry about the definitions (because I already know them). So does anyone have a quick way of memorizing these? Maybe a phrase, or acronym?

I need the title of a moive. it is about a female college art student with a imaginary friend named Simon?

She created Simon when she was at one of her relatives houses for the summer. Simon thinks that she should get a real date instead of always painting him. She has a roomate but doesn’t live on campus, I think that she lives in a house. The female character tutors or goes out with the guy who played Vince in What I Like About You. That’s all I can tell you.

Need some advice towards the direction of my career! w/ a Graphic Design diploma?

I completed a studying at a college with a diploma in graphic design, and I am currently having second thoughts about where potential careers are what’s happening to the graphic design industry (wages/job opportunities). I’m having trouble even finding my first job and its been 5-6 months now, with only minimal freelance and volunteer opportunities… its rather frustrating. I was just wondering if I should consider studying more or focus harder on finding jobs. I’m open to many career ideas and directions, possibly go further into web design, animation or aim for a computer science degree (having web/software behind my back, and also programming and computer repair). What should I do??

I love art and design, been doing it all my life. I’m currently upgrading my portfolio but I wanna see graphic design and related jobs as viable careers with job security/benefits. I’m stuck, and quite hesitant. I had plans to be sure to find my first jobs and positions, but things changed and didn’t happen, and I need to sort things out.

Who is the artsist that painted the picture of a chariot race hanging in the Art Institute of Chicago?

I think the title of the painting was just “Chariot Race” and a large part of the picture was focused on the crowd and the emperor, which was all very detailed. I’m at a loss as to who the artist was.
