I am using Paint Shop Pro X2 and I do not know the Image dimensions that I should use. I am using a picture I took for the flier in which is 596 width and 430 Height. I am sure that i can shrink and all sorts. I just need to know what a good idea size would be for a flier. Also if you know of any sites that show me some cool tricks that will be awesome too.

The size of a flyer depends on its use. If you’re going to pass them out or leave them in stores, etc., then half a page is sufficient (and cheaper to produce in quantity) but less likely to be noticed than a full-sized page. If you’re going to be tacking them to phone poles and/or taping them to store windows, then you’ll want something bigger.
Are the units of the 596X430 image pixels? If you’re emailing the flyer, you can attach a full or a half page. If your embedding it, don’t make it larger than about 800 wide X 1200 high to avoid too much being hidden and unseeable without scrolling.

Most flyers tend to be the standard 8.5 by 11 inch letter size paper. That should be the size of your document, with your text and graphics arranged within that. (Don’t forget the paper margins)
